Asset Allocation Strategies
The importance of an effective asset allocation strategy cannot be overstated in today’s investment and economic climate. WTIA creates tailored asset allocation solutions from one of the seven distinct asset allocation strategies (see chart below).

Essential to our asset allocation process is the setting of ranges for each asset and asset sub-class allocation. Our Asset Allocation Committee sets target levels within the ranges based on our current tactical outlook of interest rates, economic cycles, leading indicators, and other economic and financial factors.

Setting and maintaining the correct asset allocation is a critical component of implementing any investment policy. The Institutional Client Service team begins each client relationship by establishing the acceptable ranges, targets and benchmarks in the signed Investment Policy Guidelines. We periodically rebalance to assure continued compliance with the set targets.

*These objectives are meant to serve as general guidelines. A detailed, mutually agreed upon Investment Policy Guidelines will outline each client’s objectives, benchmarks, acceptable ranges and targets.

Asset allocation does not ensure a profit nor protect against loss.
