began managing assets as a registered investment
advisor on June 30, 1995 under the name Allied
Investment Advisors. We adopted our current name
of MTB Investment Advisors following the acquisition
of Allfirst Financial by M&T Bank in April
2003. Our parent company, M&T Bank, was
founded in 1856 and has provided investment
management services since 1893.
