WTIA History

Wilmington Trust investment Advisors began managing assets as a registered investment advisor on June 30, 1995 under the name Allied Investment Advisors. We adopted our current name of Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors on January 10, 2012 following the acquisition of Wilmington Trust by M&T Bank. Our parent company, M&T Bank, was founded in 1856 and has provided investment management services since 1893.
