Corporate Structure

Formed in 1995, Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors is a registered investment advisor and a subsidiary of M&T Bank. Formerly known as MTB Investment Advisors, the firm was renamed Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors on January 10, 2012. Our parent company, Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company, was founded in 1856 and has provided investment management services since 1893. M&T Bank is owned by M&T Bank Corporation (NYSE: MTB), a publicly-traded bank holding company.
